That a large majority of RuneScape players don't take them

This isn't a criticism, but this isn't a proposal, but this is not a question, but which is a philosophical view. I really don't want people being disonest in here. Please read the whole text, and if you're feeling the necessity to OSRS gold disprove me or show service, by all means do. Please don't try and act smart, that is not the purpose of the. When replying, I want YOUR opinion on the matter. Do not read what other individuals have place, simply put what you think.

Can Mutes Function? I will create some of these threads for you to discuss the idea exhibited and to have your own view on it. The next time, I will discuss the game's economy, and how people are able to change it. Let us start off; what is a mute? Well, a mute is your punishment given to a person if they have broken up a rule to an extent that action has to be removed. Let us bring out the important word there; punishment.

Punishments are given all the time, to get a massive collection of reasons. The most common of them are censor evasion, advertisements and talking inappropriate things. Why are the given? They're allegedly given to prevent someone creating another event of rule-breaking within the community; and to provide the player time to think over their action, and weather they'll do it again. Do they have this desirable result? No.

The problem with muting is that a large majority of players do not take them in the ideal way. Many players will immediately begin complaining, ranting and planning revenge on the individual who had initially reported them due to their actions, if the person has come forward frankly. I shall explain this in more detail in the future, there is another difficulty; Quickchat. Quickchat was created with just two reasons in mind. The first being to assist individuals display set messages quicker, and also the second to allow people who are muted to convey normally. Many people don't realise that people who are muted have as much freedom of speech as somebody who is not. Yes, they can't explain complex matters, but they could still speak normally and fluently, and cause chaos.

The system Quickchat was made with allows a set sequence of important strokes to state a specific phrase. There is nothing stopping somebody using these sequences repeatedly and flooding the chat window with words that are pointless. The reason they misuse this system isn't neccessarily that it is there to abuse, they do it as they are in a situation they do not want to be in, since in their opinion, someone has reported them for a thing that they think is nice, even if it is serious. What they want to do so is cause as much chaos as possible as a revenge to cheap RuneScape gold this person, and if they do get unmuted, the very first thing they do is face the person who reported them, if they know, or only flame around. This does not apply to everyone, but I have noticed a sizable percentage.
